About me
For as long as I can remember, I have been driven by a profound curiosity about the human experience. Why do we think and feel the way we do? What gives our lives meaning? Perhaps most importantly, how can we find a path toward healing and growth even in our most difficult moments? These questions, paired with a deep compassion for those in pain, set me on the journey to becoming a clinical psychologist.
Today, I have over 15 years of experience supporting individuals as they navigate a wide range of life’s challenges. My clinical background includes extensive work with children and adults dealing with mental health difficulties and relationship-based issues.
Through these experiences, I have learned never to take for granted the privilege of my role. To be entrusted with a person’s story during the most vulnerable chapters of their life is an honor I hold with the utmost care. I am continually humbled by the resilience of the human spirit and the immense courage it takes to sit with a stranger and find the words for our most private and difficult struggles.
My Approach
I believe that healing is possible for everyone. My practice is built on a trauma-informed and person-centered foundation of compassion and the understanding that while life can be incredibly difficult, you already carry the seeds of your own resilience. Sometimes, those seeds just need a little help to be found again.
I work from a neuro-affirmative and culturally sensitive perspective, honoring the diverse backgrounds and unique identities of the people I support. I support individuals navigating significant life transitions and high-pressure environments—including students facing the unique demands of higher education, as well as those managing the complexities of professional and personal change.
Whilst I support a range of clients with diverse needs, I have a dedicated clinical interest in the mental health of boys and young men, recognizing the unique societal and internal pressures this population often faces. From navigating traditional expectations of masculinity to managing the stigma around vulnerability, I provide a space where men can explore their challenges without judgment.
As a clinical psychologist, I’m trained in a range of therapeutic models and I tailor my approach to your unique needs:
-
Narrative & Systemic Therapy: Exploring your story and your environment.
-
Somatic Therapy: Understanding the mind-body connection.
-
CBT & ACT: Developing practical tools for change and acceptance.
